The mission of Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE) is to improve the lives of our nation's service members, veterans, and their families by advancing excellence in psychological health and traumatic brain injury prevention and care.

PTSD Coach Mobile App

The PTSD Coach app can help you learn about and manage symptoms that often occur after trauma, providing you with facts and self-help skills based on research. Features include:

The Soldiers Project

The Soldiers Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing free, confidential psychological services to US military veterans and their loved ones who have served at any time after September 11, 2001.

Physical Health 

CalVet Healthcare

 CalVet programs include 8 State Veterans Homes throughout California to serve our veterans requiring long-term care. CalVet also strives to be the hub of veteran resources to provide referrals and collaboration for veteran healthcare.

Homeless Patient Aligned Care Teams (H-PACTs)

Homeless Patient Aligned Care Teams (H-PACTs), an innovative treatment model being implemented at VA medical centers across the country, play a key role in the fight to end Veteran homelessness by the end of 2015.

Mesothelioma Veterans Center

The Mesothelioma Veterans Center was created to provide information and assistance to veterans regarding treatment, clinical trials, and VA benefits for veterans suffering from asbestos illnesses. The MVC was founded by retired Navy LCDR Carl Jewett. Commander Jewett is a VA-accredited claims agent and has helped hundreds of veterans get approved for their VA benefits after developing mesothelioma or asbestos related lung cancer from their asbestos exposure in the military.

MyHealtheVet

My HealtheVet is VA’s online personal health record. It was designed for veterans, active duty service members, their dependents and caregivers. MyHealtheVet helps you partner with your health care team. It provides you opportunities and tools to make informed decisions and manage your health care.

Social Security Benefits for Disabled Military Personnel & Dependents

Travel Reimbursement

The Beneficiary Travel program provides eligible veterans and other beneficiaries mileage reimbursement, common carrier (plane, train, bus, taxi, light rail etc.), or when medically indicated, "special mode" (ambulance, wheelchair van) transport for travel to and from VA health care, or VA authorized non-VA health care for which the veteran is eligible.
